15 Paleo Bread Recipes

When you ask an expert whether bread is paleo-friendly, the short answer will probably be no. This is because regular bread has grains like wheat, barley, and rye which are all something that our ancestors didn’t eat in the way that we eat them.

Moreover, grain tolerance is associated with various diseases like heart disease, infertility, celiac disease, joint pain, mental disorders and even basic issues like headaches. The phytates in the grains also render us unable to absorb certain minerals that our body needs. Then, there’s lectin which can cause digestive tract inflammation, leaky gut syndrome and autoimmune disease.

Does this mean that you can never enjoy a good slice of bread again? Definitely not. Lucky for us, there are many ways for us to still enjoy some bread. The key lies in being creative and making bread that doesn’t have any grains or wheat.

Even better, there are a lot of paleo dieters out there who have shared their recipes to us, taking the guesswork out of making paleo-friendly bread. Just keep reading for the 15 paleo bread recipes that we’ve compiled for you.
